Delete your account
BookDNA (developed by Mohan Krishna G R) lets you delete your account and all associated data at any time.
How to request deletion
Email mohankrishnagr08@gmail.com
from the email address linked to your BookDNA account, with the subject
Delete my account. We verify the request and process it within
30 days.
If a “Delete account” option is available in the app (Settings → Account), you can also use that to delete your account directly.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the data associated with it:
- Your profile (name, email, avatar)
- Your library (books, covers, prices, ratings)
- Reading sessions and reading history
- Notes, lends, and reading goals
- AI chat history and analyses
- Notification/device tokens and premium/entitlement records
What is kept
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics and crash diagnostics that are not linked to your account.
- Information we are required to retain by law, kept no longer than the law requires.
Retention period
Account data is deleted within 30 days of a verified request. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within a further 30 days.
